Cashier at a Busy Retail Store in Sharjah
We are in need of a hardworking and efficient Cashier to join our team at a busy retail store in Sharjah. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone with previous cashier experience and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and process their purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and card transactions, count money, and give back change
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Ensure pricing is accurate on all items
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the store
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
- Keep track of inventory levels at the checkout counter
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
