We are in need of an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Akron. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings. You will work with a variety of equipment such as transmitters, analyzers, controllers, and recorders to ensure proper functionality and accuracy.

Key responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate instruments to maintain accuracy and precision
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Work closely with engineers and other technicians to improve instrument performance

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Solid understanding of electrical circuits and components
- Knowledge of various industrial instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify problems quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
