Head Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are a well-established restaurant in Siauliai, seeking an experienced Head Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu featuring authentic Indian dishes, while managing the kitchen staff and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menu items, incorporating traditional Indian flavors and ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to food safety standards
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation through consistent recipe execution
- Work closely with management to develop new strategies for increasing sales and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or similar role in an Indian cuisine restaurant
- Proficiency in Indian cooking techniques, including use of spices and preparation methods for vegetarian/vegan dishes
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to train, motivate and manage a team
- Strong understanding of food costs, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
