Data Mining Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Conduct large-scale data mining operations to extract meaningful insights
- Develop and maintain databases for storing and organizing data
- Identify relevant sources of information and collect data from various platforms
- Clean, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats
- Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data and identify patterns and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret results and make recommendations based on findings
- Continuously monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Specialist or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages used for data extraction and analysis
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. MySQL)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Experience working with big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark is preferred

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Utena (remote work may be considered)
Visa Sponsorship: Available for qualified candidates.
