Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Al Ahmadi. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This is a key role within our organization and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for any discrepancies
- Manage the month-end close process and ensure all deadlines are met
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing collections
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with other departments
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Provide support during external audits
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
