Junior Merchandiser

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, buying, and selling of products for our company in Gujrat. This includes conducting market research, analyzing sales data, and monitoring inventory levels. You will work closely with the senior merchandiser and other team members to ensure that our products are meeting the needs of our customers and maximizing profits. As a junior member of our merchandising team, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while gaining practical hands-on experience in the retail industry. The salary for this role starts at 1600$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences
- Assist with purchasing decisions based on sales data analysis
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product strategies
- Support the senior merchandiser in negotiations with suppliers
- Participate in store visits and gather feedback from customers
- Assist with creating product displays and promotions
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and competitor activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience in retail or merchandising is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
