Administrative Assistant in Funchal, Portugal
We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our company and ensuring efficient operation of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist in creating and maintaining filing systems
- Maintain contact lists and databases
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, copying, etc.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members
- Provide support to other departments as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary is a plus
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role for at least 2 years
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluency in Portuguese is preferred
