Junior Computer Systems Analyst

We are hiring a Junior Computer Systems Analyst to join our team in Washington D.C. As a Junior Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating computer systems, procedures, and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with our senior analysts to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with some experience in the field who are looking to gain more hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and gather requirements from clients or internal departments
- Analyze current computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Design solutions and make recommendations for system upgrades or changes
- Collaborate with senior analysts to implement changes and integrate new systems
- Test systems and troubleshoot issues before implementation
- Train end users on new systems or processes
- Provide technical support and assistance as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with database management (SQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Washington D.C., USA
