Junior Information Security Analyst

The Junior Information Security Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the protection of our company's information systems and data from potential threats and breaches. This role will primarily focus on monitoring and analyzing security logs, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security controls. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT security, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor security logs and investigate any potential issues or threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and make recommendations for remediation
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
- Assist in the development of information security policies and procedures
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ years of experience in IT security or a related role
- Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity technologies
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Location: Triesen (open to remote work)

Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience)
