Executive Chef
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and culinary operations at our high-end restaurant in Lisbon. We are seeking an experienced and creative chef who is passionate about creating and delivering exceptional dishes to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing a successful kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
- Create new menus and dishes while also maintaining current menu offerings
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all food items
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing revenue and improving customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end or fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine with the ability to create innovative dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
