Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist (Indian Nationals)

As a Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and guidance to clients from the Indian community in Acre. Your role is crucial in promoting healthy eating habits and preventing chronic diseases through personalized nutrition plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments of client's health history, dietary habits, and lifestyle to create personalized nutrition plans
- Provide individual or group nutrition counseling to clients from the Indian community
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits and the importance of balanced nutrition for disease prevention
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to nutrition plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Keep updated with current research and trends in nutrition and incorporate them into client care

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from a recognized institution
- Valid license/certification as a Dietitian or Nutritionist
- Fluency in English and Hindi required; knowledge of additional Indian languages is an advantage
- Previous experience working as a dietitian or nutritionist is preferred but not required
- Passion for promoting healthy eating habits and preventing chronic diseases through proper nutrition
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Salary:
$1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type:
Full-time, 1-year contract with possibility of extension
