Metal Worker

A metal worker is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and products using various welding techniques. They may work with a variety of metals, such as steel, aluminum, and copper. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in metalworking and be able to read blueprints and technical drawings. They should also have knowledge of different welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and products according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate welding equipment to join metal pieces together
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Repair damaged or defective metal parts using appropriate techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures when working with hot metals and welding equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a metal worker or welder
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Familiarity with various types of metals (steel, aluminum, copper)
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong hand-eye coordination

Salary: $1400 per month
