Our company is a leading provider of industrial automation solutions and we are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Atlanta. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various instrumentation systems used in industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various instrumentation systems such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, level sensors, and temperature controllers
- Conduct regular maintenance on instrumentation equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy
- Diagnose and repair any faults or malfunctions in instrumentation systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of all systems
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management
- Stay up-to-date with new technology and industry developments related to instrumentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and principles
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills for working with team members and reporting to management
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires working 40 hours per week. The working hours may vary depending on project requirements. The salary for this position is $1500 per month. This position does not include accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Associate's degree or certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or a related field
- Familiarity with PLC programming and control systems
- Experience working with process control instruments used in industries such as oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, or power generation.
