Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries, locations of structures and natural features, and other essential information for construction projects. You will use specialized equipment such as levels, total stations, and GPS to accurately measure and map out the land. Your main duties will include collecting data, analyzing measurements and calculations, preparing reports and maps, and communicating with other team members involved in the project. You may also be required to work on-site at construction sites or in an office setting.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques, as well as proficiency in using surveying equipment and software. You must also possess excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, good communication skills are essential as you will need to collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals on the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other mapping software
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Salary: $1800 per month
Location: Malindi, Kenya (open to Indian nationals)
