Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in the city of Hawalli. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used for measurement and control in industrial settings. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that these instruments are functioning properly and accurately.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and level sensors
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and determine appropriate solutions
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with engineers to develop plans for instrument installation and maintenance
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in instrument technology
- Comply with safety regulations and company policies at all times

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of various types of industrial instruments and their functions
- Familiarity with calibration procedures
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy equipment

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional vocational training or certification in instrumentation technology is preferred.

Location:

This position is based in Hawalli but may require occasional travel within Kuwait for job assignments.
