Executive Chef at a Nepali Restaurant in Plovdiv, Bulgaria



We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a Nepali restaurant in the beautiful city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of authentic Nepali dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities in the kitchen
- Create innovative and traditional Nepali dishes that meet customer expectations
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and productive work
- Ensure all food is prepared in adherence to health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Nepali cuisine with the ability to create modern interpretations
- Strong leadership skills with experience in training and managing kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with management, staff, and customers
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high quality standards
- Knowledge of food cost control methods
- Biometric passport for ease of travel is preferred but not required

Salary:
1200$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Language Requirement:
While English is not required for this position, proficiency in English would be beneficial.

Experience:
No prior experience is required but previous experience working in a busy restaurant environment would be an asset.
