Indian Teacher in Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Indian Teacher to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a teacher at our school, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. Your primary role will be to plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum and ensure the academic progress of your students.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of our students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop lesson plans and share best practices
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's academic progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the primary or secondary level
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Swahili is a plus)
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
and engage with parents/guardians
in a professional manner
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Mombasa, Kenya. Accommodation will not be provided.
