Carpenter


As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. You will work closely with our team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position is located in the bustling city of Shan and is ideal for English-speaking individuals who are looking to gain valuable experience in carpentry.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material using hand tools or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floors, trim, or hardware using carpenter's hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, bolts or adhesives
- Inspect work progress to ensure that it meets standards of quality

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques on the job
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and accurately measure materials
- Must be physically fit with good manual dexterity
