Guest Services Coordinator
We are seeking a Guest Services Coordinator to join our team in Malindi. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for all visitors. This is a temporary position, ideal for Indians looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, and answering any questions or concerns
- Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and events to enhance guests' experiences
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and efficiently, ensuring their satisfaction
- Maintain a neat and organized lobby area at all times
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrival
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the hotel
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality degree preferred)
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is an asset but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly demeanor with excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
