Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Dickirch. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of various instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. Your role will involve troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with instruments, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instrumentation technology and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on various instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and level indicators
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance tasks performed on each instrument
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize instrument performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety protocols when working on equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrument technology preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation technology and principles
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure calibrators
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if needed
Salary: 1800$ per month
Location: Dickirch
