Shaper - Woodworking Specialist (Eldoret, Kenya)


We are currently seeking a skilled Shaper with experience in woodworking to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and forming wood using various tools and techniques. This is an urgent job opportunity for Indian nationals with biometric passports, and no English language skills are required.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of shaping machines such as planers, routers, jointers, and shapers
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans to determine the specifications of the project
- Shape and form wood according to the specifications using hand tools or shaping machines
- Ensure that all finished pieces are smooth, precise, and meet quality standards
- Monitor equipment for any malfunctions or issues and perform necessary maintenance or repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with potentially dangerous tools

Requirements:
- Indian nationality with a valid biometric passport
- Previous experience as a Shaper or in woodworking is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and plans accurately
- Knowledge of various woodworking tools and techniques such as cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
