Wood Shaper - Eldoret, Kenya

We are seeking a skilled Wood Shaper to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Wood Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and smoothing wood pieces using various hand and power tools. You will work with different types of wood to create high-quality furniture, cabinets, and other wooden products. The ideal candidate will have experience with different woodworking techniques and must be able to read blueprints and follow specific instructions. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools to shape and smooth wood pieces according to specifications
- Read blueprints and follow instructions to create high-quality wooden products
- Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, jointers, and routers
- Measure and mark dimensions on wood pieces accurately
- Sand and finish completed projects for a smooth surface
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance before delivery
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Wood Shaper or similar role
- Good knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specific instructions
- Skilled in using hand and power tools such as saws, routers, planers, etc.
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy wood pieces if required
- Excellent time-management skills
