Preservation Architect



As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical or culturally significant buildings and structures in the beautiful city of Greenland. You will work closely with developers, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that these structures are preserved in a way that maintains their historical integrity while also making them functional for modern use.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is completed accurately and on time
- Oversee the restoration process, including monitoring progress and quality control
- Manage budgets for preservation projects

- Advise on appropriate maintenance practices for ongoing preservation efforts

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and conservation guidelines
- Experience working with traditional building materials such as wood, stone, and masonry
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in CAD software and other design tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
