Indian Pastry Chef - Ar-Ruwais
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxurious hotel in Ar-Ruwais. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in delivering high-quality and visually appealing desserts that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Develop new dessert ideas and menu items that reflect current trends while maintaining the hotel's brand
- Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs, ensuring they adhere to recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong creativity and ability to develop new dessert ideas that reflect current trends
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Indian nationality is preferred but not required
