Network and Systems Administrator

We are currently hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Kaunas. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our network infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$, suitable for Filipinos living in Kaunas.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network performance, troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls
- Ensure the security of our network by implementing appropriate security measures
- Manage user accounts and permissions on our systems
- Monitor system backups to ensure data is properly backed up and can be restored if necessary
- Provide technical support to employees for any network or system related issues
- Keep track of hardware and software inventory, perform upgrades as needed
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies or improve existing systems

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN technology, firewalls, VPNs
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/MCSA/MCSE
