Typesetter

We are currently hiring a Typesetter to join our publishing team in Multan. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various publications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to the specific style guidelines of each publication
- Check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
- Adjust font styles and sizes as needed
- Create design elements such as drop caps or callouts
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Use software programs such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress to layout pages
- Make necessary edits based on feedback from team members

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in using design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography and layout principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred)
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous typesetting work (preferred)
