Indian Executive Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our restaurant team in El-Ain. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$, suitable for both experienced professionals and recent culinary school graduates.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus featuring authentic Indian cuisine
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Ensure quality of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Adhere to food safety regulations and procedures
- Manage budget and control costs
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisines, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Good understanding of food cost control measures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with menu development
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
