Executive Chef - Nepali Speakers (Seasonal)
We are searching for an experienced Executive Chef who is fluent in English and Nepali to join our team for a seasonal position in El-Ain. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that meet the needs of our guests and maintain consistency in quality
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor food production to ensure adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area according to health codes
- Implement strategies to improve menu offerings, cost control, and overall efficiency of the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service for guests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Fluency in English and Nepali languages
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
Salary:
The salary for this seasonal position is 1000$ per month with accommodation provided.
