Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef with experience in Indian cuisine to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Ashdod. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and designing delicious desserts and pastries that reflect the flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design unique and delicious desserts and pastries that showcase the flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine
- Develop new recipes while also maintaining the quality and consistency of existing ones
- Manage inventory and ordering for all pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise pastry assistants to ensure high-quality products are consistently produced
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless coordination of food service
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in an upscale restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including spices, flavor profiles, and cooking techniques
- Excellent creativity and ability to develop unique dessert offerings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage staff effectively
- Good communication skills in English (Hebrew or Hindi is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
