Chef de Cuisine



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at our prestigious restaurant in the vibrant city of Gujrat. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of talented chefs.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and create menus that are innovative, seasonally inspired, and aligned with the restaurant's concept
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest quality standards while adhering to recipe guidelines
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation techniques and adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop new menu items, special event menus, and seasonal promotions
- Monitor food costs and control expenses without compromising on quality or taste
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health department regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a fine-dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with both kitchen staff and front-of-house team members
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and health department regulations
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred but not required

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: Gujrat, India (open to all nationalities)
