Pastry Chef for Indian Restaurant in Jeddah
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at an Indian restaurant in Jeddah. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of desserts and baked goods, including traditional Indian sweets and fusion desserts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and baking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must be able to legally work in Jeddah
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts and baked goods according to the restaurant's menu
- Develop new dessert recipes that incorporate traditional Indian flavors with modern techniques
- Ensure all desserts are prepared and presented in accordance with the restaurant's standards
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and recipes
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items or specials
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into menu development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary working environment
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
