Formwork Technician

Our construction company is seeking a skilled and reliable Formwork Technician to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and installing formwork for concrete structures, including walls, slabs, and columns. This is a full-time position with no experience required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure and cut materials to required specifications
- Assemble and install formwork according to design specifications
- Pour and spread concrete into formwork
- Strip forms after concrete has set
- Inspect forms for quality control purposes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in formwork construction preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods of time
