Job Title: Preservation Architect


We are seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Lahore. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. This is a contract job that requires previous experience in preservation architecture and the ability to work without accommodation. You must also have your own visa, as this position is open to candidates from all countries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historic buildings and structures to determine their architectural significance and historical context.
- Develop plans for preserving and restoring historic buildings, taking into consideration their historical value, structural integrity, and current use.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that preservation plans are integrated into overall design plans.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects.
- Oversee construction work to ensure that it adheres to preservation standards and guidelines.
- Monitor the condition of historic buildings over time and make recommendations for necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Work with government agencies or organizations to obtain necessary permits or funding for preservation projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture.
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, preservation techniques, and building codes.
- Excellent design skills with the ability to create detailed drawings and plans.
- Experience working with project teams and coordinating with contractors/consultants.
- Ability to work independently without accommodation.
- Must have your own visa for working in Lahore.
