Caregiver for Elderly in Medina, Kenya

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide care and support for elderly individuals in Medina, Kenya. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, and meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with the elderly and possess excellent communication skills. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$, including accommodation. Fluency in English is not required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship for the elderly individual
- Monitor health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionals
- Accompany the individual on outings or appointments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a caregiver for the elderly
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions closely
- Must be physically able to assist with lifting or transferring individuals if necessary

Preferred:
- Training or certification in caregiving or nursing assistance
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures
