Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator and other heavy machinery according to safety regulations and procedures
- Inspect equipment before each use and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Use excavator to dig trenches, load and move materials, grade surfaces and backfill holes
- Follow blueprints or instructions from supervisors to ensure accurate excavation
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator in a construction setting
- Valid operator's license for excavator operation
- Ability to operate different types of excavators
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Salary: $1600 per month
