Experienced Glazier in Clairvaux

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team in Clairvaux, Canada. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, fitting, and installing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, skylights, and storefronts. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1000$ per week.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Glazier
- Proficient in cutting and shaping glass to fit specific measurements
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their uses
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in glazing installations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy glass panels
- Must have own visa or work permit for Canada

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, and install glass panels for windows, doors, skylights, etc.
- Remove old or broken glass and prepare surfaces for new installation
- Install weatherproofing materials around the edges of glass panels
- Secure glass using putty or moldings or by installing metal frames or clips
- Seal joints between frames or panels with silicone or other sealants
- Follow safety protocols while handling glass panels and using tools & equipment
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
