IT Project Manager



As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of IT professionals to successfully complete projects within budget, scope, and timeline. Your main duties will include planning, organizing, and implementing complex IT projects in collaboration with other departments and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks or delays, and developing contingency plans to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to execute complex projects
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and budget
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and adjust plans as needed
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure project success
- Conduct regular meetings with team members to track progress and address any issues
- Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the IT department

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards common goals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to identify potential risks or delays and develop contingency plans
- Creative problem-solving skills
