Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect the company's data and systems
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment
- Ensure efficient operation of all network components
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Maintain backups of critical data to prevent data loss
- Install new hardware or software as needed
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to design, implement, and maintain new systems or upgrades
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology related to networking and system administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven work experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), routing protocols (BGP), firewalls, VPNs, etc.
- Experience with Windows Server OS, Linux/Unix OS, VMware ESXi/vSphere environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory services (DNS/DHCP)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/ESXi)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSA, etc.) are a plus.
