Light Driver - Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking a reliable and responsible Light Driver to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Light Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our company vehicles, as well as providing transportation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and passengers
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their transportation needs
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and repairs/maintenance
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately to management
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as refueling, tire checks, and oil changes

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for light vehicles (Class B)
- At least 1 year of experience as a light driver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physically fit with good eyesight

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving in Malindi or surrounding areas
- Indian nationality preferred
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
