As an Executive Chef at our 5-star hotel in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the culinary operations. Your main goal will be to ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience by providing high-quality, delicious meals.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus and develop new dishes to meet guests' needs and preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen employees
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Develop relationships with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at reasonable prices
- Manage budgeting, costing, and pricing of menu items
- Oversee the preparation of special events or catering services

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant setting
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, procedures, and cost control measures
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a hygienic kitchen environment
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively while promoting a positive work culture
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, suppliers, and guests from diverse backgrounds
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also keeping up with current food trends
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Education/Experience:
A degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role is required.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Nationality:
Preference will be given to candidates from Pakistan, but all qualified applicants are welcome to apply.

Employment Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension.
