We are seeking a skilled and experienced Smelter Operator to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the smelting process, ensuring the production of high-quality metals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the smelting process according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain proper temperature, pressure, and flow levels in the smelting equipment
- Monitor and adjust chemical processes to ensure the production of high-quality metals
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and report any safety hazards or concerns to management
- Keep accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in metallurgy or related field is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience as a Smelter Operator in a similar role
- Knowledge of smelting processes, equipment, and materials used in metal production
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods of time in a hot environment
