Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our growing team in Triesen. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's databases. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the security, availability, and performance of our databases. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of database management systems and be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. A biometric passport and proficiency in English are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain company databases
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure database security and availability
- Develop backup and recovery plans for critical data
- Implement data models and database structures
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, and patches
- Train employees on database usage and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot database issues quickly and efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
- Biometric passport (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in English (preferred but not required)
