Job Title: Database Administrator


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their efficiency, security, and reliability. You will work closely with our IT team to design and implement database solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases according to organizational requirements
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop database backup and recovery plans
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate access controls
- Collaborate with IT team to optimize database usage for various applications
- Identify opportunities for database improvements and make recommendations for enhancements
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as data backups, updates, and upgrades
- Train users on how to properly use the databases

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle), ETL processes, and data warehousing techniques
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Java, or Python
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
