Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst in Faisalabad, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's computer systems and networks from potential cyber threats. Your main duties will include monitoring network activity, conducting security audits, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security solutions. You will also be responsible for educating employees on information security best practices and creating security policies and procedures. This full-time position includes accommodation and requires a biometric passport. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network activity for any potential security breaches or threats
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies
- Train employees on information security best practices and procedures
- Create and maintain policies for data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Respond to cyber incidents by investigating, containing, and mitigating attacks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure implementation of new systems or applications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and industry standards such as ISO 27001
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns or anomalies
- Excellent communication skills to educate employees on information security best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with penetration testing tools
- Understanding of cloud computing environments
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR or HIPAA
