Tiler Technician

Our company in Eschen is seeking a skilled Tiler Technician to join our team. As a Tiler Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles on various surfaces such as floors, walls, and countertops. You will also be required to measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, mix and apply grout and adhesive, and ensure that all tiling work is done accurately and efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience working as a Tiler Technician. You should also have excellent knowledge of different types of tiles, adhesives, grouts, and other materials used in tiling. A good understanding of measurement tools and techniques is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Install tiles on various surfaces following blueprints or design plans
- Repair damaged or broken tiles
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas
- Mix adhesives and grout according to instructions
- Apply adhesives to surfaces using trowels
- Place tiles onto surfaces carefully ensuring proper alignment
- Apply grout between tiles using a float or rubber scraper
- Remove excess grout from surface using sponges or other tools
- Clean and polish tile surfaces when finished
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Tiler Technician
- Good understanding of different types of tiles, adhesives, grouts, and other materials used in tiling
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as rulers, levels, measuring tapes etc.
- Ability to interpret blueprints or design plans
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Excellent time management skills

Salary: 1500$ per month
