English Teacher for Non-Native Speakers in Los Angeles


We are seeking a qualified and experienced English teacher to join our team in Los Angeles. As an English teacher, you will be responsible for teaching non-native speakers the fundamentals of the English language. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of non-native English speakers
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans to improve students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their language development
- Incorporate cultural and diversity awareness into lessons
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum and teaching materials
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' progress and behavior

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching English to non-native speakers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles
- Strong knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation rules of the English language
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans using various teaching materials and resources

Preferred:
- Teaching certification such as TEFL or TESOL
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Fluency in a second language
