Instrument Technician
The Instrument Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of instruments and equipment used in various industries. They will perform regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all instruments are functioning properly. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various instruments such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and analyzers
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with instruments or equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of all instruments
- Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify solutions for complex technical problems
- Plan and execute instrument upgrade projects
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments
- Keep up-to-date with new technology and industry developments related to instrument maintenance
Requirements:
- Technical degree or relevant certification in instrumentation or a related field
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Familiarity with various types of instruments and their functions
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical manuals/diagrams
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
- Physically fit for performing tasks such as lifting heavy equipment
Salary: $1000 per month
