Junior Librarian

We are in search of a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Librarian to join our team in Gujrat. As a Junior Librarian, you will assist with the daily operations of the library, including cataloging and organizing materials, providing reference assistance to patrons, and maintaining a welcoming and organized space for all visitors. This is an ideal position for someone who is passionate about books and information and is eager to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with cataloging and organizing library materials
- Provide reference assistance to patrons, including answering questions and helping with research
- Maintain a welcoming and organized space for all visitors
- Assist with collection development by recommending new materials for acquisition
- Participate in outreach activities to promote library services to the community
- Help plan and implement programs and events for library patrons of all ages

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for books, learning, and helping others discover new information

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. We do not provide accommodation but we do offer free visa sponsorship and airfare for international candidates.
