Collections Specialist

Our fast-paced and growing company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Pula. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for contacting customers to collect on overdue accounts and maintain accurate records of all collection activities. This is a contract position with the opportunity for permanent placement. We welcome candidates of all nationalities who are fluent in English and have prior experience in collections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect on outstanding balances
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities
- Monitor customer payment trends and identify potential issues
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes or billing inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in collections or a similar role preferred
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of accounting principles is a plus

Salary: $1000 per month

Location: Pula, Croatia
