Indian Seamstress in Mombasa


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Seamstress to join our team in Mombasa. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garments according to customer specifications. This role is suitable for men who are passionate about sewing and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Take accurate measurements of customers and guide them in selecting appropriate fabrics
- Use sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment to cut, sew, and finish garments
- Follow patterns or create new patterns based on customer requests
- Ensure all finished garments meet quality standards
- Communicate with customers to discuss any alterations or modifications needed
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress, preferably within the Indian community
- Proficient in using sewing machines and other tools
- Attention to detail with strong knowledge of garment construction techniques
- Ability to understand customer needs and create garments accordingly
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This role is based in Mombasa, Kenya. However, we welcome applications from Indians living in other cities or countries who are willing to relocate.
